Where Does Ubiquitous Computing Lead the Organization?

چکیده

The paper is concerned with the question of how the emergence of ubiquitous computing influences organizations in terms of changing business processes and social aspects of employees’ work. The overview and critique of recent publications from the transaction costs and social implications perspectives is made on three levels of analysis (individual, group and organisation) and conclusions are drawn as to organizational and social consequences of implementing ubiquitous computing.
